Criticism, Patriotism and SGR

When I raise concern about a act or utterance by
authority or representative in my country Kenya,
it doesn't mean I am a Hater, Pessimist or
Enemy of Maendeleo. Agreeing, supporting or
throwing stones at critics isn't, hasn't and won't
be a measure of or an identity of Patriotism. Yes
there are positive deeds in this country by its
government and people too, the negatives are
out weighing though. Highlighting the negatives
is my prerogative and civic duty.
Let me say that the Delight of Nrb/Msa travelers
wasn't the reason we sold our kidneys to
Chinese to build the SGR. Rather to offload the
tracks on our roads. Passengers aren't
economically viable;the approximated 1,000,000
per year @ 700 =0.7 billion revenue. Thus 327
billion would take too long to repay. This project
needs to generate more than Ksh 20 billion to be
economically viable. In fact, factoring
maintenance, inflation, recurrent expenditure et
al we ought generate more than 20 annually.
Folks that rail will ride us to prosperity if they is
Enough Cargo not enough Passengers!
