Why SabaSaba Is Not an Excuse ,Nor Are The National Prayers A Solution

I have been observing this pro and anti #SabaSaba  drama from a safe distance. From the unfolding it is fair to say both parties are to blame for the fever that ailing Kenyans over 7/7.

To say the least the populous is dreading the so called "Kenyan defining point". The government PR machinery and moles on their part  have branded the Kenyan version of the Arab Spring.
The thing is none of the two are worth listening to leave alone siding with. These are "animals of the same den" ,i mean these folks wine and dine together after casting a circus on the podium we have set for them. Meanwhile what do we simple-minded  Kenyans  do? We slaughter each other, threaten our neighbors do not belong here and they ought to "go back to their home" and the "digital" folks take it to the social media to shamelessly spread the hate.
These events have taught me one thing, contrary to the popular believe, politicians are not entirely to blame, for instance how many people have discouraged you from being in the city on Monday? Or how many of us would report to work on Monday if a memo was not sent to warn us of dare consequences  if we fail to show up? We are our own enemies.

Unless you ail from Mars ,you will concur with me that this nation is facing many challenges, most of which can be averted.Insecurity and rampant corruption(among the CORD dialogue issue) pop out as the most obvious examples.
It has been said that terrorism is a global problem and Kenya is no exception.Yes no one disputes that, but most these attacks that happened in the recent past in our nation can we attribute them to Terrorism or"Terrorism"?Whichever it is what has our government done to show at least we have a government? West Gate attack could be slightly excused since it was a case of first bite, but the later no.
The government has allowed illegal militia to have a field day in our very land that our fore father fought so dearly to liberate from the colonial bondage. After the West Gate attack the government promised to have a commission look into the matter. Almost a year later nothing no commission No arrest. Then only thing to reckon about the ordeal was the reckless statement from Ole Lenku.
From then on a series of attacks have been executed resulting to loss of precious lives of innocent Kenyans.
These unfortunate events put the government into test,it is an open secret that it failed miserably at least according to me and my likes. This weakness was the opposition's opportunity. Not bad, they ought to put the government to task.

Instead of handling these grave issues the government has been busy telling off , painting grey  and blaming the opposition.  Discouraging Kenyans from attending the SabaSaba rally by insisting that we will all go to work on Monday as usual.
If the government has "information" that  CORD is behind attacks in Mpeketoni and else where in Kenya why the hell don't they arrest, try and lock the fellows in maximum prisons? These gimmicks are intolerable. The government must cut the crap and deliver tangibles and stop investing so heavily on empty PR.
We have been fed with the conspiracy that politics(which in our Kenyan case always means the opposition) is to blame for everything. This is the most stupid excuse i have ever heard. Nowadays it is acceptable to blame CORD after twenty tweeps unfollow you on Twitter.
Let me remind the government that the NARC government was rocked by politics for most of its era after the fail out over the Wako draft in 2005,that did not bar it from achieving some of the biggest successes in post independent Kenya. In short the call for opposition to "let the government work" is pure bullshit.
CORD may have a point or but i do not think their approach was the best option. This however does not warrant the government to disregard it as a on man's agenda. This one man is the voice of five million Kenyans who voted for him in the 2013's general elections.
And to the NCCK and other quarters including the president who have been telling Kenyans to pray and going to the extent of holding "national" prayers,Kenya does not need prayers! What miracle do you expect God to pull when say the security officers are busy watching some grown ups not to misbehave in political rallies instead of protecting Kenyans at the coast and else where ? The good book says faith without action is dead.

It is surprising that these "men of God" are silent when there an extra judicial killing of a Muslim cleric. This bunch is an item to be bought at the highest bidder.
They are the same people who "preached" against the new constitution on the ground that in advocated for ABORTION!
